The Department of Innovation and Entrepreneurship aims to provide students a platform to develop relevant entrepreneurial skills through the practical assignment and project work and elevating the growth of new ventures through continuous mentoring and funding supported by venture capitals, angel investors, entrepreneurship development fund and other seed funds.

অ্যামাজন ওয়েব সার্ভিসেস (এডব্লিউএস) প্ল্যাটফর্ম ব্যবহার করে ব্যবসা পরিচালনার বিভিন্ন সুবিধা তুলে ধরতে দেশে হয়ে গেল দিনব্যাপী ‘এডব্লিউএস স্টার্টআপ ডে বাংলাদেশ ২০২৩’। আজ বৃহস্পতিবার রাজধানীর সোবহানবাগের ৭১ মিলনায়তনে অনুষ্ঠিত এ আয়োজনে একাধিক কর্মশালার মাধ্যমে শিক্ষার্থী ও উদ্যোক্তাদের অ্যামাজন ওয়েব সার্ভিসের ক্লাউড অ্যাপ্লিকেশন, সফটওয়্যার, বিশ্লেষণ প্রযুক্তি এবং মেশিন লার্নিং সুবিধা ব্যবহারের প্রশিক্ষণ দেওয়া হয়। অ্যামাজনের ১০ জন প্রশিক্ষকের পাশাপাশি বাংলাদেশি প্রযুক্তি বিশেষজ্ঞরা এ প্রশিক্ষণ দেন। অ্যামাজন ওয়েব সার্ভিসেসের সহযোগিতায় বাংলাদেশে প্রথমবারের মতো এ ধরনের আয়োজন করে ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি (ডিআইইউ), নলেজভ্যালি এবং বাংলাদেশ ভেঞ্চার ক্যাপিটাল। এক সংবাদ বিজ্ঞপ্তিতে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছে ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটি।
