Short Description
Short Description on Lab: In this laboratory, the concept of analog and digital modulation and demodulation are studied. Laboratory equipment includes signal generators, oscilloscopes, trainer kits of various types of modulators and demodulators. Students can use their concept learned in theory, and build their own modulators and demodulators and use simple message signals like sinusoidal wave to test how these modulators and demodulators work by plotting the signals through oscilloscopes. The experience that the students gain in this laboratory enhances their understanding of analog and digital communication systems.

Short Description
Short Description on Lab: The control system laboratory has been developed with a view to enable the students to perform practical works based on the theory course. In the lab students can do perform experiment under the supervision of an experienced course teacher and get assist from an experienced lab attendant. The control system laboratory, the experiments conducted can be divided into two parts. (1) Software and (2) Hardware The software MATLAB is used. In this portion students will develop their skills in code writing and can perform experiments with different system models that were taught in the Control System theory code. They will also get to work with Simulink where they can evaluate a system performance based on schematic diagram plotting. For hardware there is a variety of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) devices where students can have hand to hand experience in operating these device which can broaden their outlook in perspective of Industrial Machineries and also develop their skills in PLC hardware , programming and operation.

Lab Location
Short Description
In this laboratory, the concept of analog to digital signal conversion as well as time and frequency domain analysis of digital signals using MATLAB software are studied. Students can implement the theory learned in Digital Signal Processing and design an optimal analog to discrete signal converter. Besides, they can analyze the time domain as well as frequency domain characteristics by plotting the output signal in the MATLAB window. The experience the students gain in this lab will be later helpful for those who want to build their career in the communication sector.

Short Description
In the Electrical Circuit Lab students can create their own electrical circuits and do measurements on it. In the circuits the students can use resistors, ammeter, voltmeter and variable resistor. There is an ammeter, voltmeter, wattmeter and an ohmmeter. There is also a version of the Electrical Circuit Lab in which data can be collected. Students can analyze the collected data by creating graphs of the data and use the graphs in the conclusion tool.

Lab Location
Short Description
Electronics laboratory is the gateway of the electronics & communication engineering world. The aim of this lab is to correlate the theoretical concepts of various analog and digital electronics circuits with practical feasibility; thereby students can learn different electronics circuits and its electrical characteristics in a better way. This lab provides ample opportunities towards students to design electronic solutions to meet specified requirements & test the design either on bread board or using simulation software. Lab experiments are designed in such a fashion that the engineering skill of the students starts to enrich. Thus the acquired knowledge guides them to implement various real time projects in future

Lab Location
Short Description
The electrical machine laboratory is one of the fundamental laboratories for all electrical engineering students and for this reason recently it has upgraded the laboratory equipment and to provide students with hands-on application on up-to-date electric machines, drives and instruments, as well as to improve their preparation theory learned from lectures. The benches are designed to study all types of electric machines such as three-phase asynchronous and synchronous machines, single-phase machines, direct current machines, single-phase and three- phase transformers, speed control of DC and AC motors. The Electrical Engineering program at Daffodil International University has been drawing students steadily, which shows student interests and local industry needs. This lab helps students to enter into Bangladesh power sector and also many non govt. power industries. This lab motivates students to acquire more knowledge about advanced machines which will encourage them to zest for higher study.

Short Description
Power Electronics is the technology behind switching power supplies, power converters, power inverters, motor drives. In this laboratory, the fundamentals of power electronics will be illustrated in practice. Students will be building different kinds of circuits like Rectifier, Power semiconductor switches, Inverter, Motor speed controller. You are expected to apply the theoretical principle you learn in lectures, validate them by simulation using software and finally build them by yourself. Get ready for a great journey with power electronics laboratory! Through this laboratory, you will be involved in practical experiments that apply theoretical principles in power electronics theoretical classes. After this laboratory, you will be familiar with electronic components: their types, functionality, how to measure.

Short Description
The purpose of this lab course is to review the essential definitions and characteristics of measurement. We discuss measurement systems and the roles and classifications of instruments in a comprehensive and descriptive way, with more detailed discussions to follow later. Whether exploring Mars, measuring the brain’s electrical signals for diagnostic purposes or setting up robots on an assembly line, measurement is everywhere. In all human activities, the idea of measurement establishes a relationship between a natural or artificial phenomenon and a group of symbols, usually numbers, in order to create the most reliable representation possible. This representation is classified according to an “orderly” scale of values. Measurement is the basis of scientific and industrial research. It allows us to understand the phenomena we observe in our environment by means of experimental deduction and verification and helps us keep records of the results of these observations. Established models and scientific laws are available for all of us, doing away with the need to begin each experiment with the most basic observations. This is why perpetuating knowledge is so important in the long term. The objective of the course is to introduce the fundamentals of Electronics Instruments and Measurement providing an in-depth understanding of Measurement errors, Bridge measurements, Digital Storage Oscilloscope, Function Generator and Analyzer, Display devices, Data acquisition systems and transducers. To address the underlying concepts and methods behind Electronics measurements.

Lab Location
Short Description
Simulation lab is designed and prepared to facilitate conducting five laboratory courses named as Digital signal processing lab, programming language lab, control system lab, mechanical lab and VLSI Lab. The laboratory room is equipped with Core-i3, RAM-8GB, 3.70GHz Computer, server and multimedia projector. The lab offers a range of software to support lab classes and research works. In this lab, students will have the opportunity to learn the programming and simulation skills as well as their implementation in the analysis of electrical, electronic and mechanical system’s response for transient and stable operation. Students could utilize the lab in completing their capstone project in final year.
