On May 23, 2024, our Food and Beverage Service course had an incredibly insightful practical presentation led by our fantastic Course Teacher, Nurul Afchar. From mastering table settings to perfecting drink-serving techniques, students gained hands-on experience that’s crucial for their future in the hospitality industry. Huge thanks to Nurul Afchar Sir for making this learning experience both informative and enjoyable!
On May 19, 2024, the Department of Tourism and Hospitality Management at DIU organized an industry visit to The Lounge 95 in Savar. This visit offered students an enlightening experience in understanding firsthand food safety protocols. They gained invaluable insights into the meticulous processes required to maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in a hospitality setting. From observing kitchen operations to learning about storage practices, the tour emphasized the critical importance of adhering to food safety regulations to ensure customer satisfaction and well-being.
